Pacific Crest Services was founded in 2003, as an Independent Insurance Agency , which has now grown to an Independent Insurance Alliance with over 400+ agency owners across the United States.  

The core of our business philosophy is helping insurance agents with all aspects of business operations, training, development, support, and strategy to allow them to build their insurance practice beyond their expectations.

2019 - Established CLCS Coursework and Certification through the National Underwriter

2020 - Developed Risk Management Program

The Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist program is recognized as one of the leading advanced commercial designations in the industry.  Pacific Crest’s offering is unique, as we pair the designation’s curriculum with real-world claims examples.

2018 - Launched Pacific Crest University

This 12-week course trains on the fundamentals of commercial insurance including: BOP, package, commercial auto, workers compensation, and employment practices.   We cover basic commercial sales and marketing strategies. 

2008 - Founded Pacific Crest Services Independent Insurance Alliance 

Leveraging years of training and development of captive and independent agents, our founder created a platform, a proven path for agents to establish and grow their agencies.  The approach combines market access, ownership, flexibility, back-office and training with development.  Since 2008, Pacific Crest Services has increased their presence to 27 states and have over 400 agents.

2003 - Founded Pacific Crest Services 

After researching the value provided by established independent insurance organizations at the time it was clear that starting a scratch insurance agency would offer the best long-term option for success and compliment the existing risk management portfolio.   

Agents with a solid understanding of commercial insurance wishing to develop a particular industry niche are enrolled in our Risk Manager Program.  Our specialties include: restaurants, auto repair/garage keepers, habitational, and agriculture. 

2002 - Founded Pacific Crest Wealth Management

Following his dream to help his clients plan for their future, protect their assets and achieve their financial goals, Shawn started a financial services company that exists today to provide clients a comprehensive risk management plan.

2021 - Pacific Crest Territory Manager

To expand the reach of the alliance and further our mission of helping agents run successful businesses, we developed the territory management opportunity.  Entrepreneurial agents can now leverage all the foundational systems and processes of the alliance to build, grow and profit from expanding their territories.

2020 - Established Pacific Crest Risk Advisors

For insurance agents possessing financial licenses or those desiring to offer comprehensive risk management services, we created a platform to accommodate them.  In addition, we have designed specific risk management training to assist agents with opening these discussions with clients and staff available to assist with closing complex cases.

2002 - Principal Left Captive Agency

With over 9 years of captive agent and agency management experience, our founder left the captive insurance world seeking more flexibility, better market access, higher compensation and ownership.
