Knowing how to write commercial lines is a differentiator for you as an agent and opens up your prospecting to a wider audience with likely higher premium. Tim Hoppins, our Commercial Lines Developer is well versed in writing commercial lines. Having attended Travelers Commercial Lines school in 2017 and completing his CLCS through the Hartford in 2019, he has built his knowledge through application and is ready to help you do the same.
For those agents interested in learning commercial lines, whether it be coverage specific or a carrier appetite, Tim hosts 1 on 1 live trainings, going through real life risks in real time on the carrier sites - using the appetite guide and quoting platform.

We ask that agents have at least $50K in written personal lines premium and a goal of writing at least $100K in commercial lines premium per year moving forward before entering in to a formal commercial training relationship.
